900 MHz GSM cellular networks.
Satellite coverage is currently available in parts of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East
as indicated by the region outlined by the brown line on the map at the bottom right.

Near the periphery of the coverage area (shown on the IsatPhone coverage map above as the brown outlined area), satellites can be low on the horizon so that terrain features can block them.
